OUR MISSION
Our mission is to support the Melbourne Police Department by providing resources that are not readily available through other means. We serve as a vehicle for tax-exempt grants and gifts from individuals, businesses, and charitable organizations. Our goal is to help the Melbourne Police Department keep pace with rapidly evolving technology, strategies, and training necessary to best serve our community.
WHAT WE DO
The Melbourne Police Foundation was established in 2006 as an independent, non-profit organization (under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code) dedicated to strengthening the services and programs of the Melbourne Police Department in Melbourne, Florida. The Melbourne Police Foundation is the only organization authorized to raise funds on behalf of the Melbourne Police Department.
