At the Melbourne Police Department 10-42, in Police 10 code, means I am at my home/residence. At the end of the day, the goal for every first responder is to make it home safely. The Melbourne Police Foundation's 10-42 Fund is a new program in which supporters are able to donate to our organization on a monthly basis, to help all of the Melbourne Police Department's officers to return home safely at the end of each work day. The 10-42 Fund will provide the Melbourne Police Department with the funds they need for the important equipment and training that allows officers to be able to be safe and protect themselves and our community.
