The Melbourne Police Foundation was
established in 2006 as an independent, non-profit organization (application pending)
dedicated to strengthening the services and programs of the Melbourne
Police Department (MPD) in Melbourne, FL.
- The MPF is the only organization authorized to raise
funds on behalf of the Melbourne Police
Department. The Foundation does NOT
solicit by telephone or telemarketers.
- The Mission is to support the MPD by providing resources that are
not readily available through other means.
- It serves as a vehicle for tax-exempt grants
and gifts from individuals, businesses, and
charitable organizations.
- Our goal is to help the MPD keep pace with rapidly evolving
technology, strategies, and training.
